It’s been a year to frame as far as big video games are concerned, and that we’re still heating up engines. The quantity and quality of titles that are coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch is worth mentioning and applause.

In order not to lose track of them, we have compiled the best PC games in 2019 with a list that we will update as dates, games, and jewels are added to the catalog of the main stores. For now, these are the ones we have enjoyed the most and the ones we are looking forward to.

A Plague Tale: Innocence

Small and without making too much noise. Aware of its indie quality but aiming at the top. This is how A Plague Tale: Innocence was presented, which has gained public and critical attention on its own merits. A tremendously well-told story, based on triple-A graphics and simple but well-executed mechanics, has become the best of the year.

1800 year

Only the push of Ubisoft is able to put a title in our noses without much illusion and place it as one of the great titles of the year. Anno 1800 is a superb, huge and hilarious game that I should recommend to any fan of city strategy and management.

Ape out

Ape Out is the game sinned of lack of options to extend its useful life, the festival that offers playable, visual and sound level well deserves the opportunity of a single but highly recommended walk. An action title as frantic as it is fun.

Apex Legends

Apex Legends has not taken long to run as the big surprise of the year. Respawn Entertainment has wanted to take the Battle Royale genre to a new level and, based on new and interesting ideas, has managed to demonstrate that there is still a lot of room for improvement in that multiplayer offer style.

Access your favorite entertainment with Microsoft Xbox One for that significant experience.

Devil May Cry 5

Capcom has been an exquisite season and Devil May Cry 5 is just the icing on a cake that can’t be reproached. A fabulous slash game that, in addition to being spectacular in the visual, also knows how to transfer that emotion to the beats and combos that are at our disposal.

Katana Zero

Turned into one of the surprises of the year, the Katana Zero of Devolver demonstrates how to combine the best of the action and the narrative in an adventure that, in addition, is beautiful to rage. An essential game if you were left wanting more after titles like Hotline Miami or Mark of the Ninja.

Metro Exodus

We really wanted to return to this saga and, although the difference between what was experienced in its presentation and what we have ended up receiving is remarkable, Metro Exodus ends up proving to be a highly recommended option. For setting and pleasure when representing his particular apocalypse, it is an experience that leaves no one indifferent.

Rage 2

RAGE 2 delivers an open world in which the gap takes center stage. Yes, the story and lore of the first installment are still there, but in the sequel, they have learned to take their soap opera much less seriously and that feels like an FPS in which they first shoot and then ask themselves.

Resident Evil 2

Another of the great samples of how far Capcom’s good hand has managed to get. Resident Evil 2 could have been many things, but we found it difficult to imagine such a positive scenario. The remake ends up corseted by some inevitable seams, but far from supposing a problem, the tribute to the PSX game puts them a loop so that we receive them as a gift.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice arrived, defeated and, to finish off the task, left half the community crying thanks to his devilish difficulty. A superb action game in which fighting turns into dancing and exploring another reason to fear. Undoubtedly one of the firm candidates of the year.

Slay the Spire

He started the year as a cover despite taking a good amount of time in Early Access but would put his hand on the fire by stating that Slay the Spire will be one of the main titles on the GOTY lists of 2019. A highly recommended letter roguelike to that you should approach sooner or later.

One-Stop product for professional gaming: Sony PlayStation 4 Pro

Division 2

May Division 2 is one of the most recent lists, but in this short time, it takes between us and has managed to convince the enormous potential behind the Ubisoft game. A more and better manual that, fortunately, manages to correct many of the errors of the first delivery.

Trials Rising

It has certainly been one of the most anticipated and celebrated returns. May Trials Rising is not the perfect delivery of the saga with which we all dream, but it is certainly a formidable return to the festival hours and engagement that has always characterized this franchise.
