Have a damaged Apple Watch Series 2 or Apple Watch Series 3? Apple has a solution.
Apple announced the launch of a new screen replacement program in case of crack issues for Watch Series 2 and Watch Series 3 Apple models. The new Screen Replacement Program would cover a specific type of screen cracking that may affect models sold between September 2006 and September 2019.

Apple says “under very rare circumstances” a crack on the screen may occur starting on one side of the screen and then continuing around in aluminum models of an Apple Watch Series 2 or Series 3. Eligible customers may have their screen replaced free of charge from Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider if it is exhibiting this kind of crack.
According to the company, accidental damage including shattered screens, won’t be covered, and stainless steel and ceramic models that use a different display type also aren’t covered. If the crack specifically appears to be cracked around the edge, Apple says authorized service providers can replace the screen for free.
The new program is eligible for Apple Watch Series 2 and Series 3 models for three years after the first retail sale of the unit or one year from the start date of the program.
