The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is best known for its pocket-friendly smartphones and MIUI custom Android interface. Other than these, this Chinese giant also offers a wide range of products to satisfy its customers. The company will most likely come up with a new eyewear product category for Xiaomi eyeglasses or sunglasses. According to a Chinese media report, Xiaomi has created a new Weibo account which has already been verified with a blue tick, confirming its authenticity.
Xiaomi’s new account is made live now, even though nothing had been posted on the new page. However, a Weibo user was reportedly spotted sharing images of the upcoming line of Xiaomi glasses.
Apart from the upcoming range of specs, Xiaomi has already launched two types of Xiaomi sunglasses in the market. The company did not make any previous announcement regarding its attempt to launching frames and eyeglasses. However, the leaked images trigger up our expectations. The images reveal a bunch of eyeglasses from the company. Therefore, we can say that Xiaomi is set to launch a whole new range of eyewear products soon.
Unfortunately, it is still not verified whether the images are authentic. Xiaomi has also not made any announcement regarding the posts.
We should keep in mind that Xiaomi usually launches its non-core products through its sub-brands, example. Redmi, Huami, Yunmi, etc. If the new eyewear product is launched, there is a high possibility that the company will launch it through its subsidiaries.
We still don’t know when the product will be available in the market. However, we could still hope for the best. Since the Xiaomi’s new account for this range of eyewear products has already been live on Weibo, we can expect the official announcement for the eyeglasses or sunglasses from the company soon.
