Samsung has introduced PlayGalaxy Link, the all-new streaming service that lets players bring their PC games to the Galaxy Note 10 devices to continue the game on the go.
For those who already use a powerful PC for gaming, they can stream their game library to the Galaxy Note 10 device using Wi-Fi or 4G/5G mobile data and continue with the game while outdoors.
With PlayGalaxy Link, Samsung is achieving a new level of gaming, enabling you to create a customizable streaming experience by connecting the Galaxy Note10 to your own powerful PC and the games you already own.
The PlayGalaxy Link features a P2P connection that does not make use of a relay server and provides better performance.
It also makes use of Adaptive FPS which ensures better connectivity along with better device performance and longevity of gaming sessions.
The PlayGalaxy Link app, which is compatible with a wide range of graphics card manufacturers, ensures that local storage and graphics performance do not become factors that would affect gaming sessions, thereby not putting much strain on the battery of the device.
Since PlayGalaxy Link uses a PC to power your Gaming Session, the Galaxy Note10 avoids becoming hot and dropping frame rates as a result.
Moreover, PlayGalaxy Link would offer a library of PC-exclusive titles for the Galaxy Note10 that can be played with a game controller or keyboard.
To avail the app, users have to install the PlayGalaxy Link app on both their PC and their Samsung Galaxy Note10, add their choice of games and then begin streaming. Connecting wired or Bluetooth-enabled controllers to the smartphone can provide an enhanced gaming experience.
Samsung emphasizes on the necessity of having a PC with good specifications because a bulk of the processing will be executed in the PC, and so the more powerful the PC specs, the better the mobile gaming experience.
The PlayGalaxy Link Beta version can now be accessed by the markets of South Korea, France, the Netherlands, Russia, USA, UK, Canada, Italy, and Singapore.
The app is exclusively for Galaxy Note10 devices in the main. Galaxy S10 owners can avail themselves of the app by downloading the MR software update on their device. Users of Samsung Galaxy Fold, Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy A90 will receive a software update in early December, following which they can access the app.
