Apple is offering some kind of holiday App Store promotion where App Store users are waking up to an App Store story that mentions a “surprise” for every day from December 24 to December 29 for iOS users.
Following the broadcast of the Christmas deal of Apple music, it seems that the company has been deciding to offer more gifts for its users. Although further details aren’t known, these gifts will likely be some paid apps and games.
Customers are told to look for “unwrapped presents” within the App Store’s, Games, and Apps tabs each day of the week-long offer. As the surprise kept by Apple, it doesn’t say what kind of gifts customers can expect to receive by taking part in the promotion, but as given it operates within the App Store, it is expected to be free or discounted apps. As the offers are swapped each day, it is probable that customers will have only a 24-hour window to claim their free or discounted items.
Formerly launched in 2008 and ran for six years before ending in 2014, the 12 Days of Gifts offer gave users in a number of countries free apps, music, eBooks, and other content every day for 12 days we can hope the same for this time as well.
