Xiaomi India has established itself as one of the biggest technology brands to look out for. With new affordable yet premium products that they bring out to the market every year. Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi, has become one of the fastest-growing tech companies here in India, and worldwide.
Redmi posted a cryptic short video of 18-seconds on Twitter showcasing what appears to be its next product. Even Manu Kumar Jain, Global VP of Xiaomi and the MD of Xiaomi India posted the same video indicating that whatever new device the company is planning to bring out to the market will also be released in India sooner.
As mentioned above, the tweet is cryptic and nothing concrete can be deciphered through the video. The video shows some sort of device in grey/black color.
The netizens took the challenge immediately and tried guessing what the new device could be. Some users think the new device could be the new Redmibook. This guess was shot down by Xiaomi’s official Twitter handle, as it clarified that they do not have any info regarding the new Redmibook.
The color or the size suggests that the device, which is the anticipated Redmi power bank cannot be the new Redmi smart TV, and the device is too big for it to be a smartwatch.
In all probability, Redmi will bring its new power bank to the market. The shape and size are shown in the teaser certainly fit the profile.
However, the complete lack of any wire attached to the device may mean that the new probable Redmi power bank would be a wireless charging power-bank. If it is indeed a wireless power-bank, it will certainly be one with a high capacity battery, with more than 20000mAh capacity.
The Tweet did not reveal anything else about the new device. Hopefully, Redmi will officially announce the device in a few days.
