MWC 2020 will be the biggest event of this year, a platform that will be used by every other tech company to showcase, launch, and introduce their latest innovations for this year. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei reportedly will also participate in the MWC 2020 event.
Huawei’s official Weibo handle announced on 12th February 2020 that it will indeed take part in the MWC 2020. The MWC which is scheduled to host the event in Barcelona will see the global launch of the new Huawei product on February 23, 2020.
It is difficult to pin down the upcoming products from Huawei. It goes without saying that it is highly unlikely that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will introduce only one item at the MWC. The launch event will witness a range of products being showcased on Huawei’s behalf including devices such as notebooks, tablets, headsets, VR glasses, watches and much more.
According to Huawei’s marketing strategy, the “1 + 8 + N”, the “*” must include PCs, smart screens, tablets, headphones, speakers. Glasses, watches, cars. The “N” stands for various smart products of Huawei ecological access, and the “+” code refers to HiLink technology.
Following this logic, Huawei is bound to launch some new smartphones. It is being speculated that Huawei might finally launch new folding screen phones at the MWC 2020. Samsung at its Unpacked event 2020 already introduced a similar foldable, albeit flip phone.
Huawei’s official posters for the MWC 2020 gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming launch event. The device showcased on the poster looks a lot like a folding screen phone as promised by Huawei. So does that mean Huawei is finally bringing the foldable phone to the market? Would the Huawei Mate Xs be available in March this year? Only the MWC conference has the answer.
