Xiaomi recently launched the Mi 10 5G smartphone under the Mi 10 series in China. Xiaomi India’s MD Manu Kumar Jain announced on Twitter on 19th March 2020 that the Mi 10 5G will launch in India on 31st March 2020.
Xiaomi Mi 10 features a 6.67 inch 2340x 1080 OLED display that comes with the refresh rate of 90Hz, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone sports a hole-punch design. It has a peak brightness of 1,120 nits and offers a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage and has dual-mode 5G and Wi-Fi 6. The device runs on the tech giant’s latest MIUI 11 based on Android 10.
The new Xiaomi smartphone comes with a 108MP quad camera set up on its back with a 1/1.33-inch primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with 123-degree FOV, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front of the display houses the selfie camera of 20MP. With these kinds of camera sensors, the users will be able to capture 8K videos at a resolution of 7680×4320 pixels.
The smartphone runs on a 4,780mAh battery that comes with a 30W fast charging. The device reportedly supports 30W Fast flash charge, 30W wireless flash charge, and 10W wireless reverse charge.
The smartphone comes in three variants, 8GB and 128GB, 8GB and 256GB, and finally, the 12 GB and 256GB variant, and they are priced at INR 40,900, INR 43,968, and INR. 48,084 respectively.
The smartphone is offered in three color variants, Titanium Silver Black, Peach Gold, and Ice Blue.
The new smartphone from the Mi 10 series falls on the slightly expensive side as the starting price for the basic smartphone is around INR. 40,000.
