Xiaomi India is all set to launch its upcoming event, the Smarter Living, which is scheduled to take place on September 29. Xiaomi India’s social media accounts have been busy teasing and introducing the gadgets and devices that are to be launched on that day.
Those teasers have given the netizens an abstract idea as to what to expect from the event, and from Xiaomi. The company brings products for the consumers that fall under the category of technological devices.
As part of its smarter living motto, the Chinese tech giant in the past few months launched products for the domestic household, and as such launched products such as a beard trimmer. The company is eying to unveil the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5 in the Smarter Living event.
In the latest tweet, Xiaomi India teased yet another product from the upcoming event. In a rather cryptic Tweet accompanied by a short video, the company teased a “beautiful, bigger, brighter” display. Although the tweet did not reveal any other information regarding the nature of the display, the shape of the display contends that it must be the upcoming Mi Band 5.
The Mi Smart Band 5, features a 1.1-inch AMOLED display which is bigger than Mi Band 4’s 0.95-inch AMOLED display. It comes with 11 sport modes and offers Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) Activity Index.
Furthermore, the company claims that the sleep monitoring accuracy feature is improved by 40 per cent in the new fitness band. It can help women track their menstrual cycles inside of the new women’s health mode as well.
The charging process has also been made simpler with a magnetic charger, so the users would not need to remove the strap to plug in the display. The price for the Mi Smart Band 5 is likely to be around INR. 2050.
