With the deluge of information about imminent iPhone devices, Golden Master had revealed every detail about Apple. It almost revealed everything from Apple’s new 4K TV set-top box to eleventh-hour iOS11 features. Furthermore, it also stated strings of iOS11 code, 9 to 5 Mac, which they claim to be Apple Watch Series 3 device.
Certainly, the device shows features that are likewise to the Apple Watch Series 1 & 2. Above all, the distinguishing features like a modified Digital Crown, and an LTE signal meter & more lend assurance to the likelihood that what we are looking at is, in fact, the Apple Watch we will see on stage today.
One of the most appealing characteristics of the device is its ‘Candy Apple’ red-colored Digital Crown that may or may not be the place where Apple has tucked away from the wearable’s LTE antenna, according to the site. Otherwise, the model showcased in the Watch app features a standard Space Gray chassis and Black Sports band.
It’s the presence of onscreen icons for navigation, telephony, and a pre-iOS 11-styled LTE signal meter. However, that most resoundingly suggests that this is the 4G wireless-capable Apple Watch S3.
KGI securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicated in his last month’s report that Apple Watch S3 wouldn’t feature any substantial difference from its predecessors, aside from the inclusion of an LTE chip to facilitate 4G wireless connectivity, allowing users to sport the device untethered from their iPhones.
Interestingly, previous rumors and reports about the Apple Watch Series 3 have focused on a wide range of aspects of the device, such as its long-rumored redesign into a modular form factor or its inclusion of FDA-approved health diagnostic tools. Thus, we can still expect some more surprises that the company may have in its store.
