It’s quite well known to us that even in this age of advertisements, Google has always been quite a stand out among the league of websites that make the visitors go through the enormous amount of links, graphics, photos, and animations which at times becomes disgusting as well. The simple & plain GOOGLE with those occasional little modifications with most of its focus centered towards that search bar is quite a relief to our eyes, to be honest.
But according to our sources, that is about to change to a very small extent. The next time you visit www.google.com, you’ll find two small links titled ‘Store’ and ‘About’ on the top left corner of the page. These options on being accessed will eventually lead you to the recently revamped online hardware store and to a PR site containing a bunch of internally created feature stories, respectively.
From ‘Store’, you can easily pre-order products exclusively from Google, including the recently released Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones. From ‘About’, you can get access to things like Google’s history, the current trending search items, and a link. It sounds really intriguing that it can take you to the previous cool Google homepage doodles too.
These two ‘small’ changes near Google Search Bar reflect Google’s vision on how it wants its users to be able to order Google products without going via some third-party platform which might have mixed responses. Whereas letting the users know about the company will increase the acceptability and the credibility of Google among its users for sure.
