The Chinese tech giant Honor finally launched the Honor Router 3 SE router after the company had announced the device a few months back.
The new router comes equipped with a dual-core MIPS 900MHz processor. Moreover, the router features 128GB of flash memory, 128MB memory, a full Gigabit port. The router also comes with support for Gigabit dual-band Wi-Fi 2.4GHz and a 5GHz dual-band concurrent.
As per its design, Honor has equipped the router with four high-gain and widened antennas with a reasonable layout. The antennas are supposed to reduce co-frequency interference while also providing wider signal coverage. Theoretically, the router can provide a speed of up to 15000Mbps.
Additionally, the router also provides 4 (10M/100M/1000M) adaptive rate Ethernet interfaces, supports WAN/LAN adaptive and blind plug-in of network ports, and supports one-key Mesh networking of multiple Honor routers. Its wireless transmission standards include 802.11ax/ac/n/a 2*2 and 802.11n/b/g 2*2.
The new router from the Chinese tech giant brings a new network experience to its users, especially because of its faster transmission rate, lower latency, and lower power consumption. Furthermore, as per a few sources, the new router can intelligently identify the online course software making children more focused on their online lessons. It can also sense the starting of a game, thereby intelligently accelerating the game. This will reduce the game delay.
The Honor Router 3 SE supports Huawei HiLink smart home along with other features such as WiFi anti-brute force cracking, support for a new generation wireless encryption protocol, WPA3, a firewall, and DoS attack protection.
The users have more control over this router as they can manage the speed limit of the device, and even limit the bandwidth of the device through the MAC address.
The Honor Router 3 SE is now available for sale. It comes at a special launch price of 199 yuan, but originally the router is priced at 219 yuan.
