An official tweet from Epic Games read, “Ready your defenses and cross into The Sideways. Cubes have crash-landed on the Island and it’s up to us to fight for the Island’s survival…before it’s too late.”
After watching the trailer, we can easily understand that the mothership had crash-landed on the battleground on the island after it was destroyed. We can guess from this that the new map of Fortnite may have some modifications especially since, in the trailer, there are objects and cubes falling from the sky. Some people have commented that this might mean that Fortnite will also introduce new locations in the upcoming chapter.
Moreover, this season is a collaboration project with Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is not the first time that Epic Games decided to team up with such a big name.
