It’s been barely a month since Honor released the Holly 4 smartphone in India. The company is back again, this time with Holly 4 plus, which is said to be the rebranded model of Huawei Y7 Prime. Huawei Y7 Prime was launched in June this year.
Powered by Snapdragon 435 SoC, the device comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage under the hood.
It boasts a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280×720 resolution beneath the 2.5D curved screen. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
The 12-megapixel rear camera with a 1.25-micron sensor and an LED flash steals the show. The 8-megapixel front camera comes with beauty mode along with 0.3-second autofocus. Various features like slow-motion, time-lapse, and Pro Mode make the camera department interesting.
The 4,000 mAh battery promises to provide 20 hours of video playback, 66 hours music playback or 15 hours of 4G web surfing.
The device runs out of the box on Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s exclusive EMUI 5.1 on top.
Mr. P Sanjeev, Vice President of Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group India, quoted during the launching ceremony, “The success of the Holly series was so overwhelming that it encouraged us to continue making improved and revolutionary products. The Holly 4 Plus has been curated to meet the preferences of our consumers better. We have received an exemplary response in all our recent launches from the tech experts and our target audience. This is another offering from us with an aim to cater to the diverse Indian market and serve it in the best way possible.”
Honor Holly 4 Plus, priced at Rs. 13,999 in India, will offer three color variations – Grey, Gold, and Silver.
The company has confirmed the device to be an exclusive offline device at the moment. It will be sold through all the Honor partner stores across India. The sale will be on November 3.
