Today, the Chinese smartphone brand, iQOO has officially announced the date of April 13 for the unveiling of its next-generation gaming flagship – the iQOO Neo6, equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 80 W fast charging, and a rare earth cooling system.
Previously, reports have revealed that the new iQOO Neo6, with the model number V2196A, has passed 3C certification, and also received the network access license for telecommunications equipment.
The smartphone has also shown up on the Geekbench test platform, indicating that it would be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, under the codenamed “Taro.”
Recently, @Digital Chat Station, reports that the upcoming iQOO Neo 6 will feature a flagship gaming experience and will be equipped with a well-known rare earth cooling mechanism that is designed to suppress the Snapdragon 8’s heat and completely release the performance.
Therefore, the upcoming smartphone is expected to feature 12 GB of RAM, run Android 12, have single-core and multi-core scores of 1193 and 3523 points, respectively, and support a 4700 mAh battery capacity with 80 W fast charging.
As per the leaked images, the smartphone sports a triple-camera arrangement on the back with two enormous circular cutouts. The LED flash module and a third small sensor cutout are also housed inside the square-shaped camera module.
A 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP portrait camera with 2x zoom are all likely to be included in the next iQOO smartphone.
The smartphone will be available in three colors: black, blue, and orange. A 6.62-inch display with a hole-punch cutout in the upper center is on the front. The phone will have an AMOLED display and, as expected, would support a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Thus, the new iQOO Neo 6 is expected to be unveiled first in China by April 13 and also launch in India under different branding. As for pricing, the mobile brand has not released any price tag yet. Stay connected with Techgenyz for more updates on the upcoming smartphone.
