In a bid to expand users’ experience, Microsoft is now rolling out the first build of Edge version 104, Edge 104.0.1271.2 to the Dev Channel, introducing a couple of new features and fixing errors. The version is the first build of Edge version 104 and comes with several updates carrying the same version before Edge moves to 105.

A group policy that allows organizations to limit the maximum length of username/password values added to the Edge Password Manager and a delete button for individual apps on the block external app list are included in the newest Edge release. The delete button, on the other hand, is only available to iOS users. It also includes a number of enhancements, bug fixes, and other changes.

The newly rolled out Microsoft Edge 104.0.1271.2 now includes a group policy that allows businesses to limit the maximum length of username/password values added to the Edge Password Manager, and also added a delete button for individual apps on the block external app list.

For the improved reliability, the 104.0.1271.2 comes with a SharePoint for translation, cache performance for profile pictures on Mobile, strings for sidebar search text when reading with a screen reader to find the area more clearly, and web select/web capture keyboard controls with multiple displays.

As well as new features such as the ability to choose the download destination and the interface’s ability to display the selection dialog or not, preventing it from being hidden the following time after a mistake.

However, for the fixing features, the Microsoft Edge 104.0.1271.2 fixed a crash when using the Send Tab feature, high memory usage from WebResourceRequested events, and crashes when using Read Aloud online. As well as a crash when reading Aloud online and crashing on AAD for mobile.
