Xiaomi’s Mi 12S series was laudable for its exceptional camera features. The device is the first flagship device launched in collaboration with German camera-maker Leica.
The Leica-camera setups made the device stand unique and be the talking point in the mobile industry. However, as we just discovered from a popular, reliable leaker, it seems Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil the next generation device – the Mi 13 series.
According to the leaker, @digitchat, the next generation smartphone will be unveiled by November this year and will feature a 100-watt battery. The 100-watt battery will carry SM8550 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2) iterative engineering machine adopting a multi-pole ear single cell scheme, supported by a self-developed quick charge IC, and the series can charge all members with 50W full blood wireless.
In addition, the leaker reveals that the use of a single cell scheme is estimated to control the circumference of the three, so the grip of the new Mi 13 series is not expected to disappoint. Regardless, it should be noted that a few days ago, the same leaker revealed that Xiaomi would have a new self-developed fast charging IC, dubbed the Surging P2, to the mobile brand report.
Whereas, according to the mobile brand, the Paper P1 is the industry’s first resonant charging chip, with an adaptive switching frequency 4:1 ultra-high efficiency architecture, resonant topological efficiency of up to 97.5 percent, non-resonant topological efficiency of 96.8 percent, and thermal loss linearly reduced by 30%.
Surge P1, on the other hand, supports wired 120W surge second charging, 50W wireless second charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging is the first smartphone equipped with Surge P1.
Meanwhile, as per the earlier report, Xiaomi’s next-generation smartphone – the Mi 13 / Pro, is reported to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, not the Mediatek variant. In addition, the Mi 13 series will feature a 2K+120Hz ultra-narrow bezel flexible curved screen.
Therefore, if all these claims turn out to be true, we expect to see the next generation smartphone in less than four months with all the reported expected features. Thus, Stay connected with TechGenyz as we bring you the latest updates in the Tech world.
