Fans of Dragon Ball: The Breakers received a bit of a surprise this week when Bandai Namco unveiled not only the game’s release date but also a trailer along with the registrations for the closed network test. Pre-orders for the game have also been made available on their official site.
Trailer revealed the backstory of Dragon Ball: The Breakers
Dragon Ball: The Breakers is inspired by earlier asymmetrical video games like Dead by Daylight, in which seven players assume the roles of common citizens facing off against one of Dragon Ball’s most powerful adversaries, like Frieza, Cell, and Buu.
The survivors have been imprisoned in the city by a Temporal Seam, and they are all seeking to escape. This is where the game’s plot takes place. The Super Time Machine must be discovered and used in order to escape without the raider destroying it. The survivors can still flee using the standard time machine, albeit it will be more challenging. Survivors have a variety of cunning abilities and protective gear to keep them safe, and under certain circumstances, they may change momentarily into Dragon Ball heroes.
