According to the Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Shengbang Microelectronics has passed the iPhone 14 quality verification and is expected to ship power management ICs for the iPhone 14 in the second half of this year, said in a tweet.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that Shengbang Microelectronics is shipping Apple’s high-end products for the first time, which means that the company’s contribution to Apple’s revenue will increase significantly, and its technical level can already compete with global leaders in the field of consumer electronics.
In Ming-Chi Kuo’s opinion, Shengbang Microelectronics’ market share in Apple’s supply chain will continue to grow as a result of cost advantages and Apple’s supply chain policy of reducing supply risks. Also, the company’s technical level has reached that of first-tier manufacturers in consumer electronics applications, improving the company’s future visibility into higher-end applications such as automobiles and servers.
Previously, the Tianfeng International analyst had earlier revealed that some iPhone 14 series panel and memory suppliers have recently experienced supply issues, but the impact on the upcoming mass-produced iPhone 14 should be limited because other suppliers can fill the supply gap.
