A new video game featuring the Marvel character Black Panther is apparently in development by video game company Electronic Arts. According to a reliable insider, a single-player with an open world adventure Black Panther video game is currently in the very early phases of development.
The video game insider Jeff Grubb first revealed the possibility of a Black Panther video game, on a Twitch broadcast of his Game Mess program hosted by GiantBomb. Kevin Stephens, a former vice president of Monolith who worked on the Middle Earth games among several other projects, is reported to be working on a Black Panther game along with a new Seattle-based team, and the game is being produced by EA.
According to Grubb, “The game begins with Black Panther dead, and the player will take on the difficulties of becoming the new Black Panther.” He has hinted that the storyline of the game has many similarities to what will be shown in the next movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Briefly said, the story supposedly begins with the demise of the first Black Panther. Other than that, there aren’t many specifics about the game, but it seems like it will be a single-player game.
Although the Marvel characters have previously featured in games, this will undoubtedly be the character’s first totally devoted video game. Black Panther has reportedly appeared in various video games, like Marvel’s Avengers and Fortnite, so the chance that he has his own is probable, despite the claim still being unconfirmed.
Even while Black Panther was always a very well-liked figure, his popularity clearly skyrocketed after the debut of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. Having considered very few video games that include black panther in the leading functions, a game centered around Black Panther might very well become popular. We may anticipate that the game will be made available on all popular platforms since EA is the publisher.
