Huawei, the leading name in the tech market, has officially launched Honor View 10 in India today. This phone will be available for sale in the Indian market from the 8th of January at a price of Rs. 29,990 (approx. $473) exclusively through online retailer Amazon India. Registration is already open and has been live for over a week.
Available in two color variants, Navy Blue and Midnight Black, Huawei Honor View 10 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+IPS LCD FullView display. This device covers a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels at an 18:9 aspect ratio and 403ppi pixel density. Honor View 10 offers a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage capacity, which can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card slot.
This unique smartphone runs on the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor Android Oreo-based, EMUI 8.0 with NPU (Neural Processing Unit) for AI-based tasks. Huawei Honor View 10 features a dual-camera setup on the rear side with a 16-megapixel RGB sensor and a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor. It has an f/1.8 aperture; phase detection autofocuses (PDAF) and Dual-LED flash. The front camera of this device features a 13-megapixel camera sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
Honor View 10 support a Facial Unlock technology that can also be used to support payment-level authentication, which can unlock the device in just 400ms. This device offers connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac dual-band (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C (2.0), and 3.5mm headphone jack. It is powered by 3,750mAh battery. The company claims that the battery can provide up to 23 hours talk-time on 3G, and 22 days of standby time.
