In recent years, the mobile industry appears to be moving towards a single direction given an increased inflow of Android tablets from brands different. Just this month Google announced its first tablet – the Pixel Tablet. Likewise, brands like Motorola, OPPO and Realme are not left behind. In our latest discovery, a new leak has just exposed the coming of the Redmi Pad 2 tablet with Snapdragon 680 chip + 90Hz LCD screen.
Last October, the brand introduced its first tab in the Indiana market – the Redmi Pad. The device comes in three different storage capacities with up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. Underneath the display lies a MediaTek 99 chip that runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box. An 8000mAh battery capacity with 18W wired fast charging powers the device and also comes with 8MP rear camera and another 8MP for the front camera.
Redmi Pad 2 Tablet Exposed
As we discovered in a recent post from tipster Kacper Skrzypek via its Twitter account, confirmed that the new Redmi Pad 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 680 chips and come with a 235,8 x 147,4 mm, LCD, 90 Hz, 1200 x 1920 ps display and an 8 Mpx main camera with 5 Mpx front camera. Unfortunately, the leaker didn’t confirm the battery capacity and whether it will support wireless or fast charging, but he asserted that the Android 13 will power the tablet.
In another development, the Chinese brand is confirmed to be developing a new tablet device with h model number that 23073RPBFG has appeared in the EEC certification database, therefore, we anticipate this device to be the upcoming Redmi Pad 2. This device is reported by IT House to use similar features leaked by tipster Kacper Skrzypek via its Twitter account.
According to the media outlets, the Redmi Pad 2 uses an LCD LCD with a size of 2358mm x 1474mm, a resolution of 1200×1920, a refresh rate of 90Hz, a rear 8MP main camera, and a front 5MP selfie camera. Additionally, it is said to be pre-installed and runs based on the Android 13 MIUI 14 system. Currently, no more information about the device but we expect an official announcement from the brand soon.
