However, as part of its continuous effort to strengthen its high-resolution monitor lineup, Samsung has today unveiled a new 5K monitor – the ViewFinity S9. The new monitor not only enriches users’ experience but also supports smartphone control to offer a new dawn.
According to the brand, the new 27-inch model of the ViewFinity S9 will be available globally from July 26, 2023, with launch schedules varying by region. Samsung’s ViewFinity S9 monitor was named Innovation Award honoree at the CES 2023 owing to its optimized tools and top-notch visual experiences for graphic design and photography.
Enhancing Users’ Experience with Smartphones Control
The ViewFinity S9 uses the Smart Calibration feature controlled with smartphones, which is the first in the industry, and users can conveniently customize the ViewFinity S9’s screen for precise settings without expensive, complex calibration equipment whenever they want.
Users of the SmartThings app have the option of calibrating in either basic mode, which allows for quick and simple changes to the white balance and gamma settings, or professional mode, which gives them full control over color temperature, brightness, color space, and gamma settings. Users only need to point their smartphone camera at the ViewFinity S9 screen to begin the calibration process. Once calibration is complete, users may read a report outlining the modifications made as well as the Delta E color accuracy.
Additionally, the ViewFinity S9 offers its customers TUV-certified Intelligent Eye Care functions to lessen eye fatigue even during prolonged use. Additionally, Samsung’s Matte Display reduces glare and light reflection on the monitor, reducing workplace distractions.
