Henry Ford’s American Multinational Motor Company was already suspected, by the trademark filing in the first half of this year, to be making a motor vehicle named ‘F-150 Flash’. Now that it’s officially confirmed by the company, it is also stated that the coming automobile, featuring a tech-focused interior, will also incorporate long-range capabilities at the correct value.
Ford’s new electric truck would be ready for its debut in 2024 and, thereby, would join Ford’s portfolio shortly. Features of the Ford F-150 Flash
The F-150 Flash has been designed in such a way by Ford that the truck comprises a 15.5-inch touchscreen, a Band & Olufsen sound system, Intelligent Access, and a wireless charging pad. Adding to this, the vehicle’s available BlueCruise 1.2 hands-free driving includes lane change assist and in-lane parking with Pro Trailer Backup Assist, a power tailgate, a tailgate step with a work surface, and a heat pump to optimize energy use.
The new electric truck will start at $69,995, making it eligible for the EV tax credit the IRA provides. Ford announced earlier that the F-150 Lightning is suitable for the full $7,500 tax credit, while the Mustang Mach-E is eligible for $3,750.
Ford’s F-150 Flash 2024 would come in five models: 1. Pro at the cost of $49,995; 2. XLT at the cost of $57,495; 3. F-150 Flash at the cost of $69,995; 4. Lariat at the cost of $77,495; and 5. Platinum at the cost of $89,995.
Except for the platinum, all the F-150 lightning variants qualify for the EV tax credit. Whereas, Platinum exceeds the IRA’s $80,000 threshold.
