Nokia’s business is thriving with an accelerating growth rate, a massive reward for HMD Global, which has been reported to have shipped 21.5 million devices in total, out of which 4.5 million units might have been smartphones. By the fourth quarter of 2017, the production of smartphones and feature phones had been on the rise and had grown considerably. The quarter-on-quarter sales report shows a rise of 32 percent and almost 16.3 million Nokia phones had been delivered by the third quarter of 2017. As HMD Global climbs up the manufacturer’s ranking rung, it will rank seventh in the world for handset providers.
