Asus is expected to launch ZenFone 5 (2018), ZenFone 5 Lite, and ZenFone 5 Max at the MWC event scheduled to be held on February 27th at 12:00 am IST. Out of these ZenFone 5, Lite offers a pocket-friendly budget for the users. The company also works on an entry-level device bearing model number Asus X00RD, which has been listed on benchmarking website Geekbench.
Google announced the Android Go last year, which is lightweight, especially for those with entry-level specs. HMD Global used to be the only manufacturer known to be working on an Android Go phone (Nokia 1), now it appears that Asus also has one in the pipelines.
To boast about the specification of the phone, it was first found on the Geekbench, the phone runs on Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone. The expected upcoming smartphone will also run on Android 8.1 Oreo, which has only 1GB of RAM.
Furthermore, the specification includes, that the handset on Snapdragon 425 processor, which is a quad-core SoC clocked at 1.4GHz. The novelty is expected to support a display resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels; this means that we expect the company to launch the HD resolution handset. The device scores 640 points in the single-core test along with 1,664 points in the multi-core test.
Another flagship of the new device got heartlessly leaked a couple of days ago, which had the number X00PD. According to the brand, the Asus X00RD is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with at least 3GB of RAM, flaunting an 18:9 ratio display and dual camera module.
