According to the latest speculations, Samsung is expected to release either the 10.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 or some new device of the Galaxy Tab Pro series. The speculations started with the 10.5-inch Samsung SM-T835 getting benchmarked at GFX. On being a Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, this new device will surely feature a Super AMOLED display. It can’t be guaranteed if it’s a Galaxy Tab Pro. The benchmarked Samsung SM-T835 boasts a display with a 2560 x 1600 resolution. The first Samsung Galaxy Tab S had a similar 10.5-inch display with the exact same resolution.
An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor will most probably power the upcoming tablet. Apart from the 4G LTE supporting version, Samsung could also bring an SM-T830 Wi-Fi-only version as well. The later version has the possibility of being powered by a different processor. Some experts are favoring the Samsung Exynos chipsets to power the Wi-fi only version. Both of these versions will feature a 12.8 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera. The NFC will not be present. There’s not much detail provided about the 3.1 GB RAM. The 64 GB of internal storage will provide 52 GB of free storage to the user. It can be Samsung’s first Android 8.0 tablet.
The critics believe that Samsung has got a new policy. Instead of creating devices with mass interest, Samsung is trying to target certain sections of users by introducing different devices with different strong points.
