The Mobile World Congress is knocking on the door. It is a busy period for the mobile phone manufacturers. ZTE Blade V9 just got tested earlier today. The Motorola Moto G6 Play, one of the most awaited smartphones of the year, got tested as well and is expected to be presented within the coming week. It has passed the first benchmark with benchmarking website Geekbench and has scored 1801 and 472 points respectively in the multi-core and single-core. The Samsung Galaxy J4, an unannounced model from Samsung, scored quite similar last week.

The Snapdragon 430 processor (MSM8937), under the hood of the Motorola Moto G6 Play, is a relatively old chipset that was announced in 2015. Manufactured by the 28-nanometer process, this chipset has an octa-core processor with ARM Cortex-A53 cores. The device comes with 3GB RAM. The 5.7-inch display boasts of a 1280×720 HD resolution. The device might get released in two internal storage variants 16GB or 32GB.

It is a budget model. Compared to the other two variants releasing along with it, the device has less good parts and a different design. The chipset is competitively less powerful. The device lacks the dual camera feature. The single 12-megapixel camera at the back is accompanied by the fingerprint scanner. The model does have the benefit of the large 4000 mAh battery.
