PS Plus members are to get two day-one games in September 2024. According to reports by PlayStation LifeStyle on September 2, 2024, Sony is generous in providing PS Plus members with two day-one games this month. They reported that the official announcement might be tricky to find as they are dispersed over a number of blogs. However, they also confirmed that the two-day-one games will include both The Plucky Squire and the Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions with the official launch of the service.
They added, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be a part of the September’s Essential monthly lineup. This implies that the players across all three tiers will be able to access and download the game without the fear of any additional or hidden costs. However, the game the Plucky Squire will be included in the Extra lineup. Therefore, only Extra and Premium members will be able to access the Plucky Squire.
The game Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be available from Tuesday onwards, that is, from September 3, 2024. The players will have a month to claim September’s Essential monthly lineup and with active membership can avail of this benefit for a lifetime. The Plucky Squire will be released on September 17, 2024.
There’s more to this season of benefits and offers. Sony is yet to announce the full Extra and Premium games lineup for September. However, if we take the recent bloopers as an indication, then the Final Fantasy XVI and the Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game have a probability of being part of the catalog. Prior to being locked away, both games were briefly accessible to Extra and Premium members last week.
