Extended Battery Life
In an exclusive interview, OnePlus Europe’s CMO, Celina Si highlighted the OnePlus Watch 3 improved battery life and efficiency. The smartwatch features a dual chipset system that optimizes performance while maximizing energy use. A key upgrade is its 631mAh battery, enhanced with Silicon NanoStack technology. The same innovation is found in the OnePlus 13 smartphone thus boosting energy density for extended usage.
She also emphasized the importance of sleep tracking, stating that the OnePlus Watch 3 delivers greater accuracy in monitoring sleep patterns and quality. With an increased focus on wellness, the device aims to provide users with detailed insights into their sleep habits,
This ultimately helps them to enhance their daily energy levels and overall health. The longer battery life ensures that users can track their sleep without frequent recharging, making the Watch 3 a more reliable companion for continuous health monitoring.

OnePlus Europe’s CMO, Celina Shi acknowledged that while the OnePlus Watch 2 design received positive feedback, the community requested a functional rotating crown. In response, the company integrated a press-and-rotate mechanism.
This allows for efficient menu and app navigation. This improvement reflects OnePlus’s focus on user-driven innovation and ensures a smoother and more engaging smartwatch experience.
Fitness Features
While details on the health and fitness features of the watch remain limited, the smartwatch aligns with the industry trend towards larger and more rugged design as seen in its competitors like Apple Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Garmin devices.
The OnePlus Watch 3 keeps the same bulky design as its predecessor, but its sapphire crystal face and titanium bezel increase durability. These components support its outdoor-ready look, as do its debut hues, Emerald Titanium (green) and Obsidian Titanium (black).
