Micromax Canvas Silver 5: World’s Slimmest Smartphone Launched in India

The Micromax has officially unveiled its new flagship, Canvas Sliver 5 smartphone for Indian users yesterday. The company in its official Twitter handle announced that the device will be the world’s slimmest and lightest smartphone ever with 5.1mm in thickness, weighing only 97 grams.

Micromax Canvas 5 is beautifully designed which comes with a 4.8-inch HD AMOLED display, that supports 1280 x 720 resolution giving you the best image quality. Users need not be worried about the safety of the phone as the device is protected with Gorilla Glass 3 and has a metallic rim made out of aircraft-grade aluminum.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz and supports with 2GB of RAM giving you to have a smooth experience. In Canvas 5 you will also get 8MP Sony IMX219 rear camera stacked with CMOS sensor.

One thing might disappoint the users as the device is backed by 2000 mAh Battery and supports single SIM only. The Canvas Sliver 5 runs on the latest Android Lollipop version and supports 4G LTE giving users to witness a better high-speed internet experience.
