Huawei, the Chinese telecommunication giant, has launched its new smartphone, Honor 7i, which comes with a 5.2-inch display. The Huawei Honor 7i will be available in two variants – with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage priced at Rs. 16,500. The device with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage variant will be available at approximately Rs. 19,500.
Honor 7i, the new model in Honor Series, contains a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor (clocked at 1.5GHz quad-core + 1.2GHz quad-core) packed with Adreno 405 GPU.
The device supports second-generation fingerprint identification chip solution technology enhanced with a fingerprint recognition algorithm to unlock the device faster and more accurately. This also has the ability to understand your user behavior at every point you use the device.
The smartphone will run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system housed with a dual-SIM slot that supports 3G, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi connections. It is also powered by a 3100mAh battery, giving users a long-standing battery backup. It measures 141.6×71.2×7.8mm and weighs 160 grams.
The most outstanding feature of the smartphone is its camera. Users will get Sony’s 13-megapixel back-illuminated camera that supports a 2.0 large aperture with a 180° rotating lens, and for selfie lovers, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The new Honor 7i will have 16 GB and 32 GB internal memory that can be expandable up to a further 32 GB via a micro-SD card.
The smartphone is now available in China. However, the company has not officially announced when it will be available in other countries.
