Huawei Nova 3E, aka P20 Lite, has been made official by the brand at a dedicated launch event occurring presently that’s featured live by Weibo. While the phone is basically Huawei P20 Lite, the company is rebranding it differently in certain specific markets by the name Nova 3E.
As revealed in the launch event, the smartphone is made out of glass and metal. It sports thin bezels with a display notch and round edges. The branding is present below the display as well as on the rear panel vertically at the left below.
The rear panel further features the vertical dual-camera setup and the fingerprint scanner. The physical keys for volume control and device power are set on the right. The display is 5.84-inch supporting 2280 x 1080 resolution.
The rear cameras bear 16 MP and 2 MP sensors, and the front shooter offers 24 MP. Nove 3E is packing 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal memory. Kirin 659 64-bit octa-core is the processor.
It is a dual-SIM handset running the EMUI (Huawei’s signature Emotion UI) 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The battery is non-removable with a 3,000mAh capacity, and fast charging is supported. Measuring 148.6 x 71.2 x 7.4mm, the phone weighs 145 grams.
Additional features include a Chinese 4G LTE band, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Type C USB Port. The smartphone is priced at 2,099 Yuan in China.
