New reports are being noticed to be exceptionally active this year, revealing information about devices that are 4-6 months due to release on a regular basis. They have already revealed a lot about Apple’s tentative 2018 iPhone lineup, consisting of three new iPhones.
The latest and most interesting one among these revealed pieces of information is the one regarding the OnePlus 6, courtesy of a GeekBench report.
OnePlus has justified its slogan, ‘flagship killers, ’ with every new device they’ve introduced. The OnePlus 5T, released last year, gave Apple’s iPhone X quite a hard time. It demonstrated how you could keep up with consumer expectations without bankrupting them. Apart from Apple’s Face ID, the iPhone X didn’t really have much to offer that the OnePlus 5T couldn’t.
Now with the OnePlus 6, the company looks all set to take on Samsung Galaxy S9+. Though there are still four months to go till it gets launched, the reports have already done their job. The device is coming with the traditional 18:9 display, which could see the front notch getting necessitated to house the sensors. A dual camera is also to get featured in it.
As per GeekBench’s latest post, the NS NS P7819, the prototype number for the OnePlus 6, has a single core score of 2535 points and a multi-core result of 8632 points. This exceeds the score set by Samsung Galaxy S9+, in both of those fields, by a healthy margin. An alleged Antutu report that took place a couple of days ago also revealed that the OnePlus 6 have already beaten both Apple’s iPhone X and Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi Mix 2s.
