As the windows phone has the best feature of a word flow keyboard that combines swiping and word correction and was used to break the Guinness World Record for fastest texting, Microsoft is providing this keyboard to other platforms, starting with iOS.
Microsoft keyboard supports gesture-based typing, similar to third-party alternatives like Skype, where the user drags their fingers across the keys, and the word flow keyboard will also suggest emojis. For example, if you type the word “wink” or “dog”, you’ll get the relevant emoji amongst other suggested words.
Microsoft says in an email to Windows Insiders, “Before publicly releasing this keyboard to the App Store, we’d love to give insiders like you a preview” “with your feedback, we’ll build a roadmap of improvement to the keyboard over time.”
We wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an Android version soon after.
