Car-hailing service provider Uber has gone one step further – now book your ride from Alexa, an AI (artificial intelligence) device from Amazon. This week Uber has announced that it has integrated with Alexa API – making the simplified process of requesting an Uber car.
Now booking your Uber has become more easy – you don’t need to further rely on your smartphone. With Alexa’s voice command control, you can ask for Uber ride at your doorstep. Here is a video that explains how you can request an Uber by using voice commands.

Want to try out for Uber Skill? Just go to your “Settings” tab in you Alexa tab and simply link your Uber account by clicking the “Skills” section in your app. And you are done. The company is also offering a $15 discount for the new users for their first ride.
