Huawei has recently confirmed that it will reveal the Honor Magic 2 on October 31. The new full-screen of the magic slide is just a small step in the magnificence Hono. A couple of new teaser images posted on official Weibo account gives glimpse of the upcoming Honor Magic 2.
The device was first teased in late August. As IFA Berlin began, the Magic 2 was shown on stage with a sliding back that needed fingers to push up. Since then, the company has been uploading short videos to promote its upcoming flagship. Designed to be more endearing than informative, the video at least confirms that the front cameras are found inside the manual slider and that the Magic 2 will have a near-bezel-free display.
In Weibo, the Chinese microblogging site the camera slider of the Honor Magic 2 has also been revealed which can be manually operated as confirmed by the company previously. The back of the smartphone comes with “AI Vision” branding.
Not much information is known about this phone, except that it’ll come with flagship-level specs similar to its predecessor which came out two years ago. Since there are a lot of revelations about the specs, the Honor Magic 2 will sport a 6.4-inch full HD+ touchscreen with a Kirin 980 chipset. In terms of the storage variations, the device is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage powered by a 3,400 mAh battery that will support Huawei’s 40W fast charging.
The camera has always been the most talked specs of Honor device. The Honor Magic 2 to three camera sensors 16 megapixels, 24 megapixels, and 16 megapixels respectively with an LED flash on top.
On October 31, Huawei Honor will hold a new product launch event in Beijing. It seems that there will also be one more thing; a smartwatch with Honor Magic 2.
The unveiling will take place shortly after OnePlus and Apple reveal their new batch of devices. It’s indeed a jam-packed October for tech.
