Samsung Electronics Trademark for Samsung Rize Reveals, the Final Name Could Be Galaxy Fold

Samsung annually introduces a lot of mobile phones. By far the most smartphone models are launched within the Galaxy J, A, S or Note series. Sometimes, however, you come across a name that you do not immediately know how to interpret, that also applies to the name Samsung Rize.

Samsung Rize smartphone

On November 27, 2018, Samsung Electronics filed a trademark with the Intellectual Property Office in England. The brand name has been requested by agent Fieldfisher LLP from London. It is the trademark Samsung Rize, which is categorized as Class 9; smartphones and mobile phones.

It is as yet unknown what kind of a smartphone model it is and within which segment it will belong. But since it is a trademark in England, chances are that the smartphone will at least be launched in Europe.

More Samsung smartphones are expected in the coming period. For example, the Korean manufacturer will probably introduce the Galaxy A8s next month. This will be the first Samsung smartphone with an Infinity-O display. In this screen, there is a hole in the left top for the selfie camera. The Samsung A8s is therefore not provided with a notch.
