Even though Apple hasn’t revealed dates for its annual developer conference, it looks like Apple’s 2019 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 3 to June 7 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.
Since 2007, the weeklong event has been hosted in the first half of June and for the past two years at McEnery. Bringing down the history, WWDC 2017 took place from June 5 to 9, while WWDC 2018 kickstarted on June 4 and lasted till June 8. Therefore, Apple could also adhere to a similar type of timeline this year. But interestingly, despite having different dates, the venue was the same for the last two years at the McEnery Convention Centre.
We can expect what Apple will bring to unveil at this year’s WWDC, the iOS 13 and macOS 10.15. Having said that, Apple may change the dates before revealing them publicly. The company generally announces the WWDC schedule in March. Therefore, it is safe to expect that an official announcement around this year’s WWDC will occur sometime next month.
Alongside iOS 13 and macOS 10.15, Apple is likely to bring watchOS 6 and tvOS 13 at this year’s WWDC. But Apple isn’t alone gearing up to hold its annual developer conference in the first half of 2019. Microsoft and Google are keeping their respective developer-focused conferences on May 6 and 7, respectively.
