Bluetooth headphones have been in the market for a very long time now. It gained popularity for convenient use. However, that does not mean using a Bluetooth speaker is free of hassle. They do come with some inconveniences as most Bluetooth headphones have some kind of wires running between two earbuds to keep them together and in place. Bluetooth headphones, in a way, can be termed as being the predecessors of wireless earpods.
Last year, Apple launched its wireless AirPods, which gained immediate popularity. Wireless EarPods are so in vogue now. Following this latest trend of wireless earphones, Boat has launched the Airdopes 211 true wireless earbuds in India. Boat’s Airdopes 211 is on the pocket-friendly side, unlike Apple’s AirPods.
The price of the Airdopes 211 starts at INR. 2,499. The wireless earbuds are now available on Amazon India for purchase. The users will get a portable charging case with an additional battery backup along with the earbuds.
Now coming to its specifications, the Boat Airdopes 211 is powered by a 45 mAh battery housed in each earbud, and the charging case has a separate 450 mAh battery which can be used to charge the ear-buds on the go. The earbuds can offer service of up to 2.5 hours on a single charge.
The Airdopes can also be charged using the charging case with its own Micro-USB port and a light indicator to show the charge level on the case. The earbuds are powered by Bluetooth 4.1 with support for the A2DP profile and it has a frequency range of 20-20,000Hz and a 93dB driver sensitivity. To control playback options and volume, capacitive touch controls are on each Airdopes 211 earbuds.
As mentioned before, Airdopes are on the pocket-friendly side. Nokia will also be launching their true-wireless ear-buds at INR 9,999. The boat will have to keep a lookout on the market for their competition such as Zebronics.
