Huawei already presented its P30 series a few months ago. The new devices were supposed to be a revolution for mobile photography, especially with its Pro model, but now it is time for other smartphones to see the light. After various rumors and leaks, finally, Huawei has officially revealed the arrival of an improved version of one of the most important mobiles of the company in 2018.
The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G has been officially presented by the company to bring compatibility with the most advanced networks when they are available commercially. The only difference of specifications compared to the standard model, apart from the 5G compatibility is that this model has a battery of 4.200mAh, somewhat smaller than its predecessor due to the inclusion of the necessary components inside to admit the 5G.
Moreover, the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is equal to the original model , and this translates into a generous screen AMOLED of 7.2 inches with a resolution of Full HD+ of 2240 x 1080 pixels , using the SoC Kirin 980 7nm with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, cooling system with copper and graphene, triple rear camera of 40 + 20 + 8 megapixels (the same as the Mate 20 Pro), and its recommended price would be around 999 euros, beginning its disembarkation in the United Kingdom, which is currently the most advanced with the adoption of 5G infrastructure.
Huawei Mate 20 X 5G will be available in EE, Vodafone, Three, and O2, but so far only Vodafone has confirmed when it will launch its 5G service. Huawei’s move towards 5G leaves Apple as one of the few major smartphone companies that do not have a 5G-enabled phone on the horizon.
