After several teasers, Oppo finally has launched Oppo K3 handset in China. The OPPO K3 looks quite similar to the recently launched OPPO Reno series with a protruding dual camera setup on the rear.
The Oppo K3 smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch display and features dual rear cameras. It sports a 3D curved glass body and uses metal mid-frame. In terms of specs, we find quite a few resemblances with Realme X smartphones. The OPPO K3 will be available in Nebula Purple and Black color options.
An octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor powers the handset with a 6.5-inch display that will have a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels with Full HD+ resolution along with a DC dimming feature. Since as per display has no notch or bezels, it offers a whopping 91.1% screen-to-body ratio.
The novelty comes with 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB / 128GB of UFS2.1 flash storage. As for the camera, the OPPO K3 comes with a 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor and a 2MP GalaxCore GC2375 sensor. For selfies, the device touts a 16MP Sony IMX471 pop-up camera on the top. The OPPO K3 is powered with a 3,765mAh non-removable battery and supports VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology that offers 5V/4A (20W) power output. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner on the front.
The Oppo K3 with the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage editions of the phone are priced at 1,599 Yuan (Rs 16,100), 1,899 Yuan (Rs 19,100) and 2,299 Yuan (Rs 23,150) respectively. It is currently available for pre-order and will soon go sale in China. Both 6GB RAM variants of the smartphone will be available for purchase in China from June 1st.
