Good news for the Samsung loyalists. The smartphone giant is all set to announce new smartphones within the high-end Note series, in less than a month. A large number of people talking about a Galaxy Note 10 and a Note 10 Plus. Lately, a lot of details have been leaked about design, and many renders have been made – among others by ourselves of the Galaxy Note 10 5G. The first official images of the new top models have leaked out.
Punch-hole selfie camera & quad camera with 3D ToF camera
Both WinFuture and MySmartPrice were able to show the first press images of both models today. As already expected, Samsung will place the punch-hole camera in the middle for the first time. It is also striking that both the Note 10 and the Note 10 Plus have a single selfie camera, while the S10 Plus and the S10 5G are both equipped with a double selfie camera.
The cameras at the rear also get a different location. These are placed vertically in the upper left corner. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus is about a quad camera set-up, including a 3D ToF camera. The standard model has to do without this 3D depth camera. The fingerprint scanner can no longer be found on the back, it will be integrated under the screen, just like with the Galaxy S10 series.
The Galaxy Note 10 will probably have a 6.3-inch screen. The larger Note 10 Plus gets a 6.75-inch screen. Of both models, both a 4G and 5G variant will probably be released. Furthermore, we can report that Samsung will indeed say goodbye to the Bixby button. It is not yet clear from the leaked images whether the 3.5 mm connection will be lost.
Release of the Galaxy Note 10 series
The new Galaxy is spotted in two colors; black and silver prism. The latter has a special color gradient, as we regularly see with smartphones from Chinese manufacturers. A dark blue stylus pen belongs to the color Silver Prism. The black Note will also be supplied with a black S Pen.
As we are used to with Galaxy Note smartphones, the new additions will also be provided with an S Pen. The last time Bluetooth connectivity was added, this time the stylus pen will be improved again. A teaser video distributed by Samsung shows that the new S Pen will have a built-in camera.
The Galaxy Unpacked Event will take place on August 7, 2019, when Samsung will reveal all the details. It is probably soon after that possible to place a pre-order. The worldwide release is likely to take place on August 23. Little is still known about the price of Samsung’s newest flagship smartphones, but it is in line with expectations that prices will rise again.
