Today Samsung announced that the new Facebook video TV app will be available for the users of Samsung Smart TVs. In the second week of this month, we reported that the social media company was planning to launch the Facebook Video app for TV for the people who are most likely to watch Facebook videos. The new rollout includes the 2017 QLED TV line-up and this app is also available for 2015, 2016, and 2017 Smart TV models.
The New Facebook Video TV app is providing a new way to watch videos on a bigger screen. Users can see the top live videos from across the world and videos of the pages they follow or share with their friends.
The vice president of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics Sangsook Han says, “It is pleased to bring the social network to Samsung Smart TV users.” He also said that they will continue with the new innovations so that users can enjoy the wide variety of services.
Users can download the application by simply login into Samsung Smart Hub and can access it further. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg last year commented, that videos on Facebook will become 80% of all content shared on social media by 2018. The new Facebook TV app will help social media lovers to enjoy and discover content by one-time Facebook login.
