Following the Mobile World Congress week, Xiaomi has announced two new smartphones in The Chinese market. The Chinese company has introduced Mi 5c company’s first phone running on Surge S1 processor made by company itself and the new Redmi 4X, to capture premium build quality for the cheaper market.
Last month Xiaomi came in the news as it replaced Apple to become the fourth smartphone maker in China although, company’s market share dropped significantly. With the launch of Mi 5c, the first smartphone running on in-house mobile application processor Surge S1, Xiaomi is trying to compete South Korean mobile giant Samsung and Huawei, the largest mobile manufacturer in China.
The new Mi 5c will have the 5.15-inch 1080p display, 3GB LPDDR3 RAM along with that 64GB eMMC 5.0 internal memories. The upcoming smartphone also sports a 12 MP rear camera and finger print scanner at home button.
The smart device consists of fast battery backup with dual-nano SIM slot and processor is having 64-bit as well as 8MP f/2.0 front camera. The new Mi 5c can be out by this March 3.
If we talk about Redmi 4X, is a complete package of all feature with low cost, having the metal body, fingerprint scanner with large 4,100mAh battery. The nest version in the flagship Redmi Series has 5-inch panel with 720P resolution. The budgeted smartphone features octa-core Snapdragon 435 at 1.4 GHz speed, although isn’t the fastest chip in the market.
Moreover, Redmi 4X comes with 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage and 3GB RAM and 32GB storage options. On the camera part, the device comes with a 13 MP rear camera with PDAF and 5MP front camera.
The Redmi 4X will be available at two price points, 699 Yuan ($100) for the 2GB/16GB model and 899 Yuan ($130) for the 3GB/32GB version. The smartphone is having a cherry pink, champagne Gold and matte black color. But there is no date declared for release.
