On Tuesday, Amazon immensely reduced the price of its Unlimited subscription Music service for the U.S. students.
Amazon offers the Amazon Music Unlimited service at a price of $4.99 per month for the students who are non-Prime customers. It is less as compared to the charges paid by the Amazon’s Prime Subscriber per month.The charges for Prime Subscribers are $7.99 per month and $9.99 per month for non-Prime customers.
Also, Amazon offers a six-month subscription option at a very low cost of $6 ($1 a month) for those students who are eligible to be Prime Student members.
Amazon not only offers this service to U.S. students but, it also offers this service to U.K. with the slightest change in its price i.e simply the sign of dollar is replaced by pounds thereby making it costly.
The Music Unlimited Service also provides one additional feature of Alexa voice controls. Users can perform various activities using Alexa such as users can ask Alexa to play music for study; to play the previous song; search for the latest songs; or request for a song from a specific decade of a particular singer.
The other company that offers a similar type of service is Apple. Since May 2016, Apple offers a service of $4.99.
