AMD launched the Radeon Adrenaline 21.10.4 graphics driver on October 29. The newly launched driver is compatible with Win10 and Win11 at the same time using the Radeon RX 400 and above graphics cards, Radeon VII, RX Vega series graphics cards, etc.

One of the main purposes of the new driver is to address some of the issues with the Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy game. AMD’s Radeon Adrenaline 21.10.4 graphics driver focuses mainly on fixing the graphics display problem of the game that many players reported. Previously, the players could see some damage to the screen when the gameplay was on. However, that was not the only problem with the games, and the developers of the game ideally should address some of the problems and fix the issues.

Although the new update solves some problems, the following problems or issues have not been resolved:

In the Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy game, some graphic products such as the RX 5500 XT is encounter driver timeout issues. There has not been a permanent fix to this problem, but the temporary solution is to disable the Radeon Anti-Lag function in Radeon Software.

Some players playing the game using the Samsung Odyssey G9 C49G95T monitor are also facing problems. When the said monitor is in use, and the resolution is set to 5120X1440, 240Hz, there may be some problems with the output of the AMD graphics card.

Some players have also experienced a sudden increase in the Multimedia Athena Dumps folder occupied space.

The issues are not limited to the Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy game. For example, some graphics cards (RX 6800M) may exhibit artifacts during the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

A few sources have claimed that the AMD Radeon 21.10.4 graphics driver is applicable to Radeon 600 series, RX 5000M, and 6000M series products.
