YouTube TV for Android has received the latest update of the Picture-in-Picture mode. For those who have already received the Android Oreo, watching the video in this mode of YouTube TV 1.11 is now possible.
PiP is a major feature for Oreo and YouTube, which becomes the first among the Google apps to endorse it. The feature’s functionality is the same in YouTube TV as in the app.
Within the settings, users will see a new Picture in Picture option at the bottom of the list. It is explained that when toggled will lead to the feature’s disability.
YouTube TV has been rolling out its dedicated apps for Xbox, Android, and the smart TVs of Samsung and LG. The same will soon be available for Apple TV and the older sets.
YouTube TV is presently available in about 50 chief markets of the U. S. It is offering live broadcast as well as premium cable channels at a rate of $35 per month featuring an unlimited cloud DVR and supporting up to 6 user accounts.
