Android phones With Latest Google Photos App Will Soon Get to Enjoy Google Lens

Google Lens, a unique camera-based feature, is now rolling out on Android devices with Google photo installed. This means you can now look up information on the pretty flowers you saw on the road, the places you visit throughout the day or anything that fascinates you in your daily life. In addition to identifying buildings, Lens also gives you the required pieces of information. This includes things like a description of the place, it’s opening hours, etc., thus saving you the time and energy of a Google search. Another innovative feature is that users can also create a contact by scanning a business card.

Certain phones will eventually be able to access Lens through the Google Assistant, too, including flagships from Samsung, Huawei, LG, Motorola, Sony, and HMD / Nokia. Google’s AI is extremely powerful, and there’s no better evidence for that than Google Assistant.

The Google Lens update was anticipated on non-Pixel phones, as Google announced it at Mobile World Congress last week but the launch was done much before it was expected to. It will soon be available on iOS as well, though the exact date has not been disclosed.
