Apple has always been on the leading edge when it comes to the introduction of new technologies. This time Apple has come with a brand new update that will enable Apple users to copy handwritten text in multiple languages.
As reported by foreign media on the 7th of July, the American tech giant company has diversified the functions of the iPadOS 14 Apple Pencil. According to the report, Apple has extended the functions with the view to provide support to 5 languages. These five languages include French, Italian, Portugal, Spanish, and German.
To place it in an explicit manner, this newly introduced function by Apple will let users copy the handwritten text in the above-mentioned languages and paste the same text in the form of a standard input text. Not only this, any other content like addresses originally written in the above said five languages will appear interactive.
Currently, copying handwritten content as text and data detector now supports multiple dialects, including French (Belgium), French (Canada), French (Switzerland), French (France), German (Austria), German (Germany), German (Switzerland), Italian (Switzerland), Italian (Italy), Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America) and Spanish (Mexico).
At present, thus, Apple can detect multiple dialects when it comes to copying handwritten content as text. The dialects include a variety of German languages like German (Austria), German (Germany), German (Switzerland). For Italian, it supports dialects including Italian (Switzerland), Italian (Italy). Apart from these Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Mexico), French (Belgium), French (Canada), French (Switzerland), and French (France) are also supported by the detector.
